AFSCME In Your Neighborhood

Council 4 AFSCME represents 32,000 public service employees in Connecticut. We work for the state, cities and towns, Boards of Education, Housing Authorities and non-profit organizations.

Every day there are attacks on our pay and benefits; whether they happen at the state capitol or through budget cuts on the local level, we need to stand up together and fight back to protect vital public services.

That’s why we are holding a series of special regional events for AFSCME members who live in our neighborhoods and work in worksites to meet each other. The first two are scheduled as follows:

Additional meetings will take place around the state. Council 4 members, whether state, municipal or private sector, are invited to join the conversation.

When we come together we have POWER.
