A family may have to go without a turkey dinner at Thanksgiving this year – unless YOU help.
Each year, the United Labor Agency provides turkeys and holiday food items to those in need, including union families facing layoffs and economic hardship, seniors, and veterans.
Unfortunately, though, we have been notified by FoodShare and the CT Food Bank that ULA will not receive enough turkeys to meet the needs of our brothers and sisters – at least 300 families!
Please help us by donating turkeys and/or gift cards so we can help these families have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Donations will be accepted on November 21 and November 22 at two locations:
Please contact Amy Blackwood at email@example.com or 860-258-6640 x226 with any questions or concerns, or if you need turkeys picked up.
