AFSCME Locals 184 and 3713 present a donation to Dawn Crayco of End Hunger CT!

Across Connecticut, Council 4 members and their unions are contributing in many ways to help people in their community. Here are some of those stories:

AFSCME Local 1303-197, representing Glastonbury School Secretaries and Paraprofessionals, donated $500 to the Town's Food Bank. Read the story here.

AFSCME Local 1303-228, representing South Windsor Public Works Employees, donated $1050 to the town food pantry. The donation came in the form of gift cards to Geissler's supermarkets.

AFSCME Locals 184 and 3713, representing workers at the Metropolitan District Commission, donated $1,000 to End Hunger CT!, an anti-hunger and food security advocacy group.

AFSCME Local 2663, which is part of our State P-2 Human & Social Services Bargaining Unit, donated $1,250 to Connecticut Food Bank in East Haven. Get the story here.

AFSCME Local 3144, the New Haven Management and Technical Union, donated hundreds of children's gifts to the Abundant Harvest Ministry-Cedar Hill and New Haven Home Recovery.

AFSCME Local 991, representing Manchester Town and Board of Education Employees, donated nearly $1,500 in food, toys and cash to the Manchester Area Conference of Churches (MACC). More...
