Council 4 Lobby Day
Wednesday, May 8
10 am - 2 pm
That's how long legislators have left in the current legislative session to either pass legislation to rebuild the middle class or pass legislation that will lead to cuts in our pay, pension, and health care.
And so, on May 8, hundreds of Council 4 members call for a budget that restores taxes on the rich to avoid cuts to municipalities and public services, retirement security for all workers, and an increase in the minimum wage.
We will gather in the Old Judiciary Room at the State Capitol to hear from legislative leaders and be briefed on the issues facing working families.
After lunch, members will have the opportunity to meet with their legislators to ask them to support our middle class agenda.
